Are you a Lakewood business owner? We would love to hear from you!
The City of Lakewood recently entered into an agreement to team up with Xcel Energy for Partners in Energy. This endeavor is designed to support Lakewood in implementing a strategic workplan to achieve our energy goals identified in the Lakewood Sustainability Plan. We’re excited to roll up our sleeves to make a difference—and we would like your feedback on how we can best engage our business community around energy initiatives.
We are hosting a 90-minute workshop on July 20th from 3-4:30pm (held virtually on Zoom) to help us refine our business engagement strategies and share how you might be able to support Lakewood businesses achieve benefits through energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives. We are particularly interested in hearing from you about potential barriers that business owners face when trying to implement energy efficiency improvements and how we can help overcome them. If you are interested in participating, please contact Lynn Coppedge at lcoppedge@brendlegroup.com by July 14th. As an added incentive, one lucky participant will receive a $50 gift card to a local hardware store for their time. If you have questions about the program or would like to discuss your involvement, please do not hesitate to reach out!
