Here in the heart of Lakewood, our goal is to keep you active and fit! We have large natural parks, big grassy parks perfect for disc golf and soccer, neighborhood parks, trails, public art, and many incredible bike paths, events, and resources.

The Alameda Corridor features over 10 miles of fun and safe cycling on our 8-10-foot-wide paved trails running the length of the corridor from Sheridan to Kipling and to Green Mountain and beyond.  In addition, you can access Alameda on protected bike lanes on Garrison and Harlan Streets and explore the many side routes through Belmar, nearby parks and neighborhoods.

BIKE STREETS

To learn more about safe Lakewood bike routes and cool destinations, join Bike Streets to get chill routes between any two points in Lakewood using their community-created Lakewood Bike Map.  Additionally, Bike Street’s 15-Minute Lakewood Bike Map shows that a short ride from any starting point in Lakewood can cover a large portion of the city. 

The basic Bike Streets service is FREE with the option to pay a fee for additional features like turn-by-turn routing and personal stats.
