A Lakewood Fall Tradition
For the fourth consecutive year, ACBID and Alameda Connects are partnering with Heritage Lakewood to present the ACBID Music Stage at Cider Days on October 3-4! The musical lineup brings the sounds of the rich tapestry of Americana music to Cider Days festivities, resonating with the diverse spirit of Lakewood and the 50-plus-year history of the city’s largest and longest-running public event celebrating our agricultural history.
Saturday is a Bluegrass showcase with the promising new hometown Lakewood band Saint Colfax leading off the lineup. We’re also excited this year to feature Jake Leg in their first Cider Days appearance along with returning favorites High Lonesome and Orchard Creek. Saturday’s music further spotlights the acoustic talents of local musicians with an unplugged session we’re calling “Apple Pickin” between scheduled sets on the stage.
Sunday begins with Lakewood’s renowned Native American flautist Dennis Valasquez. The rest of Sunday’s lineup highlights bands with females in leading roles. First up will be Ms. Amy and The Jet Set in their inaugural Cider Days appearance, followed by Lakewood favorite Pennies on the Track. Slopeside rounds out the Sunday schedule with their eclectic mix of rock and country music.
Everyone is invited to grab some food and drink, relax, and enjoy the music at the ACBID Music stage!
