THE PERFORMANCE LINEUP
The MileHighlanders
The MileHighlanders are Denver’s Alternative Pipe Band Experience! The group formed in 2005 at a local Denver pub to provide a musical alternative to the normal bagpipe band scene. They continue this tradition by selecting unique tunes with their custom arrangements and including unusual instruments not normally heard in a bagpipe setting.
Connolly Irish Dance
Louise started Irish dance at the age of 8 with Scoil Rince Oirialla in Dundalk, Ireland. In the following years, she claimed the title of World Champion two years in a row, along with Ulster, All Ireland, All Scotland, and British National Champion. Her travels brought her to North America, and Louise founded Connolly Irish Dance.
The Elders
The Elders is a six-piece, internationally touring American folk rock band formed in Kansas City, Missouri. The band is known for its Americana and Celtic rock roots that intertwine varying styles, textures, and broad harmonies. The band blends socially conscious and vibrant narratives that explore history and life in the United States, Ireland, and beyond.
Tadhg and Friends
An All-Ireland piano champion and founder-member of the multi-award winning bands Goitse and One for the Foxes, Tadhg Ó Meachair is one of the most sought-after traditional Irish musicians on the circuit today. Tadhg has toured extensively across four continents. He continues to work most closely with his wife and musical
partner – virtuoso fiddler and singer Joanna Hyde – as a duo, in One for the Foxes, and in other projects.
