Lakewood Lights & Mayor Tree Lighting

Gather your friends, family, and neighbors for this annual celebration! Join us for a lighting ceremony, then enjoy a stroll among the light displays, listen to festive live music, and warm up with hot cocoa. Meet with jolly old Santa Claus or craft an ornament to commemorate this happy holiday. Plus, staff from Alameda Connects will be passing out free cookies!

Also, there will be a food drive at select City of Lakewood facilities during business hours between now and Dec. 5, and at the Lakewood Lights event on Dec. 5. The community is asked to help working families and those in need during the federal food assistance disruption and as the holidays approach. All donations go directly to The Action Center, a Lakewood nonprofit that has supported local families with food, clothing, school supplies, utility assistance, and more for nearly 60 years.
