Belmar is preparing for a day of canine fun as BARKtember Fest returns on Saturday, September 27, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This free, pet-friendly event is designed for dogs and their companions to enjoy a variety of activities and celebrate the start of autumn.
The highlight of the festival is the 2nd Annual Wiener Dog Race, an exciting event where participants’ dachshunds can race for a chance at glory. All proceeds from the race will go to support the Foothills Animal Shelter. In addition to the race, attendees can explore a vibrant festival featuring over 20 local dog vendors, offering everything from treats to gear.
