Family Concert

Join the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra for their annual Family Concert with the classic “Babar the Elephant.” This family friendly tale with music by the French composer, Francis Poulenc, follows the tale of a young Babar, his move to the city and all his adventures there. The original story by Jean de Brunhoff is based on a story that his wife Cecille told to their children. Brunhoff illustrated the story and it became an instant success in 1938.
